Little Hunting Park Pool and Tennis Club

The Little Hunting Park Pool and Tennis Club is a private swim and tennis club in Alexandria.

On May 18, 1965, Theodore R. Freeman, Jr. was denied membership in the club because he was black. Freeman was renting a house in the Bucknell Manor neighborhood from Paul E. Sullivan, who attempted to assign the membership certificate to the pool that was part of the property to Freeman.[1]
