Huntley Meadows Park is a 1479.8 acre resource-based park in the Hybla Valley area of Alexandria.
The county acquired the park from the Federal Government in 1975.[1]
On March 22, 1996, an old underground fuel tank leaked several hundred gallons of fuel.[1] During the cleanup of the spill by the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department's hazardous materials unit, another leftover fuel tank was also discovered on the property.[1]
