Diana Garcia

Diana Garcia was a 24-year-old woman who was raped and murdered by Oscar Omar Ramos Hernandez, Omar Guzman, and a third man, all members of the Mara Salvatrucha youth organization, behind her apartment in Falls Church on August 13, 2001.[1]

Guzman had mistaken Garcia for a member of a rival youth organization and suggested to Ramos Hernandez that they rape her. The three men followed Garcia back to her apartment, then kidnapped her and dragged her down to a nearby creek, where they took turns raping her. Ramos Hernandez then kicked her in the neck, killing her.[2]

Garcia was the mother of a two-year-old child.
