Albert Gardner was a 28-year-old man who lost a drunken game of Russian roulette and shot himself in the head at his home on Idylwood Road in Falls Church on December 31, 1982.
Gardner was taken to Fairfax Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Gardner's was the third death from playing Russian roulette in the county that year.
