Rachel S. Lawhead

Rachel Summer Lawhead (July 28, 1976 – May 7, 1991) was a 14-year-old freshman at West Potomac High School who was shot in the face and killed by her 16-year-old boyfriend Marcus Fossett at his family's house at 2607 Beacon Hill Road in Alexandria on May 7, 1991.[1][2][3]

Fosset was reportedly upset that Lawhead had chosen to attend the upcoming prom as someone else's date.[4]
