- June 19 – 18-year-old Roger A. Taylor, Jr. pleads guilty to first-degree murder for stabbing his stepmother Carolyn in the laundry room of the family home in Centreville on March 11.[1]
- June 30 – Following a fight, 17-year-old Jeffrey Agee is shot to death by 26-year-old Mark A. Dixon in Reston.[2]
