J. B. T. Thornton

The Honorable James Bankhead Taylor Thornton (October 20, 1856 – October 10, 1918) was the Judge of the Sixteenth Circuit Court, which included Fairfax County, from 1907 to 1918.

Thornton was also the Commonwealth's Attorney for Prince William County from 1891 to 1907 and Superintendent of Prince William County Schools from 1887 to 1891.
