Events that took place in Fairfax County in December, 2012:
- December 28 - 19-year-old Zavier O. Stringfellow dies of a head injury sustained in a vehicle crash after he is stabbed by 22-year-old independent recreational agricultural products salesman Johnny E. Bonilla in Vienna.[1][2] The stabbing came about when Stringfellow and two accomplices attempted to rob Bonilla of four ounces of marijuana and Bonilla defended himself.[3] Attempting to flee the scene, Stringfellow crashed the minivan he was driving and fatally injured himself.[3]
