Tall Oaks Village Center

The Tall Oaks Village Center is a shopping center in Reston.

The Giant Food that formerly anchored the center closed in 2007. The space was subsequently leased to a Fresh World supermarket, which closed in 2009, and a Compare Foods, which closed in April, 2011.[1]

In December 2014, the Jefferson Apartment Group purchased the center.[2][3]

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors authorized the Jefferson Apartment Group’s redevelopment plans for the center in July 2016, which included adding 156 residential units, 8,584 square feet of retail space and 5,809 square feet of office space.[2][3]
