Marie B. Travesky

Marie Boezi Travesky (December 17, 1931 – November 15, 2016) was the supervisor for the Springfield District from 1976 to 1983.

In July 1973, Travesky was appointed to the Fairfax County School Board.[1]

Travesky was first elected to the BoS in 1975, defeating Democrat former supervisor Virginia E. McEnearney and independents William L. Durrer and Harry L. Bedsworth.[2]

On June 14, 1983, Travesky was defeated in the Republican primary by Elaine N. McConnell.[3]
