- March 4 – The Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation announces the appointment of Edythe Frankel Kelleher as executive director, replacing the departed David Versel.[1]
- March 9 – Captain Carol Wilhite takes command of the Mason District Station of the Fairfax County Police Department and Captain Mike Wall takes command of the Reston District Station.[2][3]
