Events that took place in Fairfax County in March, 2005:
- March 6 – 20-year-old Brendan H. Tash is shot to death at a party at 6210 Cardinal Brook Court in Springfield when 19-year-old uninvited guest Durrell M. Pretty is asked to leave and decides to break up the party by firing a handgun into a crowd of partygoers.[1]
- March 24 – 52-year-old Kiran V. Kadian is stabbed to death in her Great Falls home by her 20-year-old son, Jayant Kadian.[2]
