- June 1 – 85-year-old Cal Laning commits suicide near his home in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood of Falls Church.[1][2]
- June 15 – The Pleasant Valley Park in Chantilly is renamed the Richard W. Jones Park to honor the former Fairfax County Park Authority employee.[3]
