Jeremy J. Munga

Jeremy Julien Munga (October 6, 1999 – July 14, 2016) was a 16-year-old Annandale youth who drowned while swimming in Lake Barcroft in Falls Church on July 14, 2016.[1][2]

Munga, a rising senior and student athlete at J. E. B. Stuart High School was described by his friends as a strong swimmer. He suddenly became distressed and attempted to swim for a nearby dock, but went under about 10-15 feet from shore.[2][3]

His corpse was recovered in 10 feet of water at about 3:00 a.m. the next morning.[1][2]
