James R. Hammer

James R. "Jamie" Hammer (May 31, 1977 – October 11, 2008) was a 31-year-old man who unintentionally killed himself early on the morning of October 11, 2008 when he lost control of his 2004 Nissan Maxima on Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston and struck a tree, flipping the car.[1]

Hammer's was the 17th fatal crash in Fairfax County that year.
