Donald L. Wilkins

Donald L. Wilkins (February 2, 1909 - November 23, 1996) was an attorney, real estate developer and civic leader in Fairfax County.

Wilkins graduated from college with a B.A. in 1931, took a law degree in 1935, and his master's degree in 1938.

On September 4, 1937, Wilkins married Anne Johnston Anderson in Rock Hill, North Carolina.[1]

In 1946, Wilkins served as president of the Fairfax County Federation of Citizens Associations.

On December 2, 1959, Wilkins was fired as chairman of the Fairfax Hospital Commission by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.[2]

Wilkins was convicted of four separate counts of Federal income tax evasion on May 13, 1966.[3] On August 8, Wilkins was sentenced to 18 months in prison by Judge Oren R. Lewis, who suspended 12 months of the sentence.[4]
