Christian J. Karotsch

Christian Jean-Noel "Chris" Karotsch (January 1, 1960 – October 22, 1977) was a 17-year-old Falls Church boy who was mortally wounded when he was shot on Rogers Drive near Lee Highway on October 21, 1977.[1]

Karotsch had just left the 7-Eleven at the intersection and was walking down Rogers Drive with a friend when two people in a 1968 Chevy Impala pulled up and asked him for marijuana. Following an argument with the young passenger of the car, the driver of the car shot Karotsch with a .22-caliber revolver to settle the matter. Karotsch was taken to the Fairfax Hospital, where he died in surgery early the next morning.[1][2]
