Winterthur Apartments

The Winterthur Apartments is an apartment complex in Reston.

They are leased by the RIMSI Corporation.

Incidents

The Winterthur Apartments have been the site of a number of violent deaths.

On September 13, 2007, 66-year-old Abdul Kadirmunye was stabbed to death by his son in his apartment at 11911 Winterthur Lane, #104.[1]

Two years later, on October 23, 2009, 42-year-old Karen S. Deck was shot in the head by her ex-boyfriend in his apartment at 11900 Winterthur Lane, #PH-3.[2]

On June 9, 2012, Bharat P. Patel was murdered near his apartment at 11913 Winterthur Lane by his friend and employee Abir Ali.[3][4][5]
