Tycon Courthouse

Tycon Courthouse is a seven-story medium-rise office building in Vienna.

It is locally known as the Toilet Bowl Building because of the distinctive 120-foot circular arch at the front of the building.

A project of developer James T. Lewis, the building was designed by architect Volker Zisner and, when completed in 1982, was the largest office building in the Tysons Corner area.[1]

The Prudential Insurance Company of America purchased the building from the Tycon Courthouse Limited partnership for $66.5 million on April 3, 1985.[1] In December 1995, Carr Realty purchased the building from Prudential for $45.75 million.[2] The PRIM Tycon Courthouse LLC purchased the property in December 2004.
