Sequoyah

Sequoyah is a condominium neighborhood in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria.

The Minchew Corporation began construction of the California-styled complex, featuring fiveplexes and townhouses, in 1972.[1]

The 1,018-unit complex is managed by Armstrong Management Services.

Incidents

On May 16, 2012, 47-year-old Morgan D. Monroe, Jr., was shot to death in the neighborhood.[2]
