Riverside Apartments

The Riverside Apartments is an apartment complex in the Huntington area of Alexandria.

Originally known as the Riverside Park Apartments, the first building in the complex were built in 1968, with additional buildings added in 1971 and 1973.[1]

In 1976, the complex was sold by the Travelers Insurance Agency to Grosvenor Properties of San Francisco for $16 million. Grosvenor intended at the time to rename the complex as the Grosvenor Riverside Apartments.[2]

The complex was sold in July 1986 to Winthrop Financial Associates for $58,125,000[3]
