Herndon High School is a public high school in Herndon.

In 1987, William R. Caudill became the principal of the school.[1]

William L. Bates, Jr. took over as principal in 2009, and would remain in the job until 2016, when he left the Fairfax County Public Schools system for an administrative position with the Baltimore County Public Schools system.[2]

In January 2017, Dr. Elizabeth Noto, principal of Potomac Falls High School in Loudoun County, was named principal, taking over on January 30.[3]
