Country Club Hills

Country Club Hills is a neighborhood in City of Fairfax.

The neighborhood is served by the Country Club Hills Civic Association, which was founded in 1954.

The neighborhood was one of six included in the 2224 acres of Fairfax County annexed by the Town of Fairfax in 1959.[1]

It should not be confused with the neighborhood located near the Washington Golf and Country Club in Arlington formerly known as Country Club Hills, but now known as Country Club Manor.

Incidents

On August 29, 1978, 58-year-old retired automobile salesman Louis King was shot to death by his son, 18-year-old unemployed high school dropout Gary King, in his home at 3530 Queen Anne Drive.[2]
