Events that took place in Fairfax County in April, 1993:
- April 21 – 33-year-old Rory R. Randolph is stabbed to death by Raynaldo Brandon and James Smith at the Lorton Correctional Complex to satisfy an unpaid debt.[1]
- April 22 – 35-year-old Krista L. Knott is fatally injured in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Backlick and Edsall Road in Springfield when the car she is driving is broadsided by a pickup truck. Knott is taken to Fairfax Hospital, where she is pronounced dead.[2][3]
