- April 3 – Leonard J. Fleeger kills his wife, Mary S. Fleeger, and three children, Brian, Kimberly, and Susan, in their home at 3804 Lakeview Terrace in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood of Falls Church before committing suicide.[1]
