Theodora Copper Mine

The Theodora Copper Mine was a copper mine in Herndon.

The mine opened in 1879. On October 29, 1879, James Leanhart was severely injured in a blast at the mine.[1]

By 1880, the mine employed six men and had shipped its first carload of ore to Baltimore.[2]
