Terri L. Quick

Terri Lynn Quick (June 26, 1958 – September 28, 1960) was a 27-month-old child who drowned in a water-filled gravel pit of the Modern Sand and Gravel Company near her home on Telegraph Road in Franconia on September 28, 1960.[1][2]

Quick followed her three-year-old brother Michael down to the pit, which he had been punished for going near, and fell in. Michael ran home and told his mother Barbara, who raced, along with neighbor Norman Oden, to the site. Oden attempted artificial respiration for the 15 minutes it took the Franconia Rescue Squad to arrive, but neither he nor the rescue squad were able to revive the child.[1]
