Sydenstricker School

The Sydenstricker School is a former one-room schoolhouse in Springfield.

The school was constructed in 1928 to replace Pohick School #8, which had been built on the site in 1900 and burned in July 1928. Built over a four-month period, the school opened in November 1928.

The Fairfax County School Board voted to close the school on September 6, 1934.[1]
