Pamela Brumfield

Pamela Ellison Brumfield, formerly Pamela Ellison McKnight, is the principal of Thomas A. Edison High School.

McKnight spent ten years as a middle school teacher, including eight at Washington Irving Middle School.

McKnight next became an assistant principal for two years at Walt Whitman Middle School.

In 2005, McKnight moved to Annandale High School, again as an assistant principal.

After five years at AHS, Brumfield became an associate principal at Hayfield Secondary School in July, 2010. Two years later, she became principal at Edison in 2012 following the retirement of Greg Croghan.
