Monica Roman

Monica Roman (February 7, 1976 – December 22, 1989) was a 13-year-old girl who was shot to death by her half brother, 19-year-old Frederick Diaz, in a bedroom of the family home in Reston on December 22, 1989.[1][2]

Monica's corpse was not discovered until late that evening, as her family mistakenly thought she was out of the house.[2]
