- June 11 – 46-year-old Richard B. Gluckstern is strangled to death in his home at 12110 Elm Forest way in the Fair Lakes neighborhood of Fairfax by Jason E. Lee.[1]
- June 25 – 22-year-old Jack S. Cornejo is shot to death by Brandon P. Gotwalt in a courtyard of the Fair Oaks at Pender Creek apartments in Fairfax.[2][3][4][5]
