Hak Bong Kim

Hak Bong Kim was a 55-year-old Burke contractor who was stabbed to death by 29-year-old Carlos H. Bustamente Mendieta in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of Montgomery County on August 14, 2005 after Kim caught Bustamente stealing jewelry from the house in which they were refinishing the floors.[1]

Bustamente then drove back to Annandale with Kim's corpse and set it on fire in a field in the 3500 block of Ravensworth Road, where it was found by Michael Schatz while walking his dog early the next morning.[1]
