Dolly Y. Parks

Dolly Yvonne Parks (b. August 27, 1970) is a murderer.

On November 25, 1997, Parks beat and strangled her estranged husband's girlfriend, 25-year-old Gwendolyn T. Jackson, at her townhouse at 4559 Southland Avenue in the Lincolnia area of Alexandria.[1] Jackson was 8½ months pregnant.

Parks was convicted of Jackson's murder on December 17, 1998.[2] Judge Robert W. Wooldridge, Jr. sentenced Parks to 25 years in prison on February 12, 1999.[1]

Parks is currently imprisoned at the Fluvanna Correctional Center, and scheduled to be released on August 12, 2020, just short of her 50th birthday.
