Darius T. Hicks

Darius T. Hicks (b. March 23, 1973) is a murderer.

Hicks shot Shawndre N. Fulton, who was eight months pregnant with his daughter, to death in the Mount Vernon Woods Park in Alexandria on November 25, 2004.[1]

Hicks, the father of five children by four women, claimed that he had accidentally shot Fulton seven times while teasing her with a gun.[1][2]

Following Hicks' conviction in 2005, Judge Stanley P. Klein sentenced Hicks to life plus 43 years for the crime on December 8.[3] Hicks is currently imprisoned at Sussex II State Prison.
