Carl R. McIntosh

Major Carl R. McIntosh (February 15, 1900 – October 13, 1957) was the first Chief of the Fairfax County Police Department. He served as Chief from July 1, 1940 to September 1, 1957.

McIntosh was appointed as as special traffic officer by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors on December 7, 1927.[1]
