Thurman W. Fincham

Thurman W. Fincham was a 38-year-old farmhand who was shot in the head and killed by an incautious hunter on the Fairview Farm in Pender on September 29, 1946.[1]

Fincham had left his home armed with a 12 gauge shotgun to hunt groundhogs. 23-year-old Ashby Jenkins, a fellow farm employee, discovered Fincham dead with a .22 caliber bullet hole in his head the following day.[1]
