Theodore R. Pope, Jr.

Theodore Roosevelt Pope, Jr. was a 20-year-old Arlington man who drowned in Burke Lake in Fairfax Station on August 26, 1978.[1]

Pope, who was not wearing a life vest, apparently leaned over too far in the rowboat he was riding in, causing it to capsize.[1]
