Springfield Estates

Springfield Estates is a neighborhood in Springfield.

Originally known as Springfield Woods, the neighborhood was built beginning in 1959, with Dr. and Mrs. William Fitzpatrick becoming the first residents of the neighborhood when they moved into their home at 6205 Bison Street.[1]

In the late 1990's 45 homes in the neighborhood were condemned and demolished to make way for the Springfield Mixing Bowl project.[1]
