James R. Merry

James R. Merry was an 18-year-old man who was beaten with a baseball bat and mortally injured by 18-year-old Honduran immigrant Mario A. Bustillo in front of the Popeye's restaurant in the Springfield Plaza in Springfield on December 10, 1997.[1][2]

Merry died of his injuries on December 16.[1]
