Jamel D. Rush

Jamel Dashaun Rush (b. April 4, 1981) is a murderer.

On August 4, 2005, the 24-year-old Rush, who had been released from prison five months earlier, fatally stabbed 30-year-old Christian A. Green on Hagel Circle in [[Lorton].[1][2]

Green attempted to intervene in an argument between Rush and his girlfriend, 18-year-old Victoria Taylor, and Rush stabbed Green twice. Green was taken to Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, where he died.[1][2]

Rush fled the scene with Taylor, but was arrested shortly thereafter.[2]

Rush was convicted of second-degree murder on March 9, 2006, and sentenced to 28 years in prison on June 16.[2][3]
