Fair Oaks District Station

The Fair Oaks District Station of the Fairfax County Police Department is commanded by Captain Chantel Cochrane, who became commander in February 2017.

The station initially opened in February 1985, replacing the former Chantilly substation.

In January 2005, Amy Lubas became the commander of the station, succeeding Dennis Wilson.[1]

It was also formerly commanded by Captain Ron Lantz, who retired in November 2012.

Starting in June 2010, the station was extensively renovated, with the first three of four planned phases completed by November 2013. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new station was held on June 14, 2014.[2]

Captain Chris Marsh took command of the station from Captain John Naylor in January 2015.[3]
