Emory W. Burchett

Dr. Emory Wayne Burchett (October 30, 1949 - January 17, 1993) was the 43-year-old principal of the Lemon Road Elementary School who was killed, along with his daughters Kara and Rena, when a fleeing criminal suspect crashed his stolen 1980 Toyota Tercel into Burchett's Subaru at around 100 miles per hour at the intersection of Broad and Washington streets in Falls Church on the morning of January 17, 1993.[1][2]
