Donald S. Monsky

Donald Samuel "Don" Monsky (November 30, 1940 – November 16, 1974) was a 34-year-old Fairfax man who was shot to death by 20-year-old Robert A. Poole in Great Falls on November 16, 1974.[1]

Poole and his 23-year-old brother George had conspired to rip off Monsky and 22-year-old David Pitt, promising to sell them four pounds of marijuana for $900. Instead, the brothers drove Monsky and Pitt in a rented van to a remote area of Great Falls, where Robert shot both men. Poole then took Monsky out of the van and shot him twice in the back of the head, then returned and robbed Pitt.[1]
