Cornerstones

Cornerstones is a non-profit organization that provides services for the poor in Reston.

Additionally, Cornerstones operates the Embry Rucker Community Shelter.

Cornerstones was originally founded as the Reston Interfaith Housing Corporation in 1970 by members of several local Christian and Jewish congregations for the purpose of building 227 townhouses in Reston for low and moderate income residents.[1][2]

In 2013 Reston Interfaith changed the name of their organization to Cornerstones.[2]
