Barbara Jean Minnick

Barbara Jean Minnick (April 7, 1950 - November 14, 1956) was a 7-year-old child from Franconia who was mortally injured by Melvin L. Carney when he ran over her and her 4-year-old sister, Gloria Kay, with the gravel truck he was driving on Franconia Road on November 14, 1956.[1]

Barbara Jean died 2 hours later in the Alexandria Hospital. She had been holding her sister's hand when they were struck.[1]
